Arizona Neuropsychological Services
We provide neuropsychological assessment and intervention services to diverse patient populations age 16 and older, with an emphasis on older adults. A neuropsychological examination is a systematic and scientifically-based assessment of a person’s mood, personality, and cognitive abilities (e.g., memory, concentration, and problem-solving) that may reveal
something about the state of brain function. The examination length varies, but typically takes about 4 hours. The evaluation can help a patient’s physician determine a diagnosis, monitor the course of a health condition, or monitor recovery from injury.
Call the office at 480-855-4011 to inquire about services and to schedule an appointment.
If you have already scheduled an appointment, you may download the patient forms for completion at your convenience.

Clinical Evaluations
- The purpose of a clinical evaluation is to help determine what might be causing cognitive issues for the patient (diagnosis) which can aid in formulating a treatment plan
- We do not evaluate or comment on competency or a patient's ability to manage their personal affairs (financial, medical, legal, driving, etc.). These are legal questions that are outside the scope of the clinical evaluation.
- We do not determine disability or work status, but will share your test results upon your request with the entities who make these decisions.
- If you have ongoing litigation and/or have legal representation related to a personal injury, we can't see you for a clinical evaluation. Your lawyer can contact us to inquire about a medico-legal evaluation (see below).
